Jeff Packard founded BizFirst after twenty years on the client side of hiring. He runs the firm the way he wished recruiting partners had worked for him: one senior lead who owns the search, a capped client load, and every submission reviewed before it reaches you.

Twenty years on the client side

Jeff spent 14 years at NTT DATA, where he grew the global consulting and professional services practice from a startup to more than $1 billion with a team of 6,000. Before that, he held consulting roles at Accenture and KPMG. Across those years he was the hiring manager, the P&L owner, and the executive sponsor, calling recruiting agencies and sitting through candidates who didn't fit, so he knows what good recruiting looks like from the client's chair.

He then co-founded an IT staffing firm serving federal and civilian contractors, placed more than 100 professionals, and exited through a sale.

He built BizFirst to do it differently: small teams, senior attention, and real accountability for outcomes.

“I spent twenty years in the client’s chair. I built BizFirst to be the recruiting partner I always wanted on the other end of the line.”

What Jeff does at BizFirst

Jeff is an active participant in client engagements, available to clients directly, and involved in strategy, scoping, and quality reviews across the portfolio. You'll talk with him from the first call. The operating model he set is simple to state: one senior lead, three to four clients, every submission reviewed, every search owned through the offer. The BizFirst Standard spells out what that means in practice.
