How we measure the numbers we quote

Three figures appear across bizfirst.net. Here is what each one means and where it comes from.

94% of placements still in seat past 90 days

Of the placements BizFirst made in 2024 and 2025, 94% were still employed by the client on day 90, the end of our standard guarantee period. We count every placement on DirectHire and managed PartnerHire engagements, and a placement counts as retained only if the person is still in the role on day 90. Client-directed engagements, where the client's own process governs screening, sit outside this figure.

First qualified candidates in about 3 business days

On PartnerHire engagements in 2025, the first qualified submissions reached the client in about three business days on average, measured from the kickoff call to the first submission the client received. Specialized or complex roles can take longer. On DirectHire, first submissions typically arrive in 5 to 7 business days.

3 to 4 clients per Client Delivery Lead

A standing operating rule rather than an average: each Client Delivery Lead carries three or four client accounts at a time, and as we grow we add people rather than accounts.

Case study figures

Each number on a case study comes from that engagement's own records or the client's vendor scorecard, and describes only that engagement. Some clients are named; others are described by size and sector.

All figures are company-reported and unaudited. We refresh this page when the numbers change. If you'd like to talk through any of them, email info@bizfirst.net. How we research and label facts in our buyer guides is on the methodology and editorial standards page.
