Your hiring

Two quick inputs and we'll show what each model costs.

How many hires per month? 1
Your typical hiring pace, on average.
Average salary of those hires $100,000
First-year base salary, roughly.
Hires per recruiter per month 3
How many hires one recruiter can deliver each month. Industry benchmarks run ~2 for hard or cleared roles, ~4 for standard roles. Same rate for in-house or PartnerHire.
In-house recruiter cost (total yearly cost) $130,000
Salary, benefits, payroll overhead, and recruiting tools for one internal recruiter.
Why compare all three: DirectHire is cheapest at low volume, PartnerHire Core wins as volume rises, and an in-house recruiter is a fixed cost that only pays off at sustained high volume. This shows where you land today.

What's Included

The PartnerHire Core price covers everything.

No surprise fees, no tool upsells, no junior handoffs. Here's what's in the monthly retainer.

Dedicated recruiting team

A dedicated recruiting team on your account, with a Client Delivery Lead as your single point of contact and experienced senior oversight.

Full lifecycle recruiting

Sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and close. We handle everything from intake call to accepted offer.

All tools and infrastructure

ATS access, LinkedIn Recruiter, job board postings, and sourcing tools are included. You don't pay for any of it separately.

Weekly pipeline reporting

Structured updates on active candidates, pipeline health, and market feedback every week. No chasing required.

Aligned to your priorities

As a retained partner, we focus on whatever matters most each week -- billable roles, internal hires, proposal staffing, or backfills. Your priorities drive the work.

Flexible scaling

Add capacity when hiring heats up, scale back when it cools. Month-to-month flexibility without the cost of carrying permanent headcount.

Methodology: This calculator compares three ways to cover the same hiring at an apples-to-apples capacity. It first estimates the recruiters needed to deliver your monthly hires, using your "hires per recruiter per month" assumption (default 3; industry benchmarks run roughly 2 for hard or cleared roles and 4 for standard roles). That recruiter count scales both the in-house and PartnerHire totals the same way, so you are never comparing one internal recruiter against a full BizFirst team. In-house is the fully loaded annual cost per internal recruiter (salary, benefits, payroll overhead, and tools) times the recruiters needed. PartnerHire Core is a monthly retainer of $8,500 for the first recruiter plus $7,000 for each additional recruiter, plus a $1,000 fee per placement. DirectHire is contingent placement priced at 10–15% of each hire's first-year salary (this calculator uses the 15% standard fee; 10% applies when you give BizFirst an exclusive search for the first 30 calendar days); you pay only on a hire, so it is not scaled by recruiter count. All figures are illustrative, based on the inputs you enter, and do not constitute a binding quote. The in-house figure excludes manager oversight, onboarding, time-to-productivity ramp, and hiring risk — real costs this comparison does not capture.
